TRAUMA INFORMED PRACTICES

This training is specifically for organizations and school communities working with adolescents.  To support the social and emotional well-being of our students, we must become a trauma informed school community.  In this workshop, leaders will learn dozens of trauma informed practices to become trauma sensitive communities. Participants will experience many evidenced based practices such as restorative practices, SEL strategies, and mindfulness approaches.  Participants will gain videos of SEL in action, collaborate on various case studies, and use case studies to gather best practices to create trauma-informed environments.  This session will dive deeply into supporting students who are trauma impacted with key practices such as Relationships, Resilience, and Self-Regulation strategies.
