The Triple Three: Social Emotional Learning (SEL), Mindset, and Motivation
Numerous research reports show that social and emotional learning (SEL) can have a positive impact on students' academic performance. Effective social and emotional learning programming involves coordinated classroom, schoolwide, family, and community practices that help students develop the following five key skills: self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, responsible decision making, and relationship skills. This NEW workshop is designed to help teachers significantly increase student motivation, grit, determination, and perseverance. Teachers will learn strategies and powerful ways to support students in developing a positive growth mindset and a stronger capacity to actively engage in the learning process, and to persevere when they meet obstacles in their achievement.
